Why We Built an Affiliate Program
We could spend thousands on paid advertising. We chose not to -- at least not as our primary growth channel.
The tech repair industry runs on trust and word-of-mouth. Shop owners talk to other shop owners. They share what works. They ask for recommendations in WhatsApp groups, at trade shows, and in online forums. When someone they trust says "this software actually works," that carries more weight than any advert.
We built the affiliate programme to reward the people who are already in those conversations. If you recommend cellbot to a shop and they sign up, you should earn from that introduction -- not just once, but every month.
We also wanted to be transparent. There are no hidden tiers, no opaque "performance bonuses," and no caps on what you can earn. The commission structure is published, the maths is straightforward, and every affiliate gets the same dashboard with real-time stats.
Who Should Join
The programme is open to anyone, but it works best for people who already have relationships or audiences in the repair industry:
1. Repair shop owners and technicians. You already know what software works and what does not. If you use cellbot and rate it, referring other shops is a natural extension of conversations you are already having. Importantly, self-referrals are not permitted -- the programme is for recommending cellbot to other businesses, not your own.
2. Industry consultants and coaches. If you advise repair businesses on operations, marketing, or growth, cellbot may already fit into your recommendations. The affiliate programme formalises that relationship with ongoing commission.
3. Content creators and bloggers. Whether you run a YouTube channel about phone repair, write a blog about small business tools, or post regularly on social media about the repair trade, you can monetise that audience by recommending a platform you believe in.
4. Wholesale suppliers and distributors. You already have daily contact with repair shops. Recommending the right software to your customers strengthens those relationships -- and now it pays you monthly for doing so.
5. Web developers and Shopify experts. If you build websites or Shopify stores for repair shops, cellbot integrates directly with Shopify. Recommending it as part of your build service adds value for your clients and earns you recurring commission.
How It Works
The entire process takes three steps.
Step 1: Apply
Visit cellbot.chat/affiliates and submit your application. Tell us who you are, how you plan to promote cellbot, and your connection to the repair industry. There is no cost to apply and no obligation.
All applications are reviewed within 48 hours. We review every application manually -- this is a deliberate choice to maintain programme quality and protect both our affiliates and the shops they refer.
Step 2: Share Your Link
Once approved, you get access to your affiliate dashboard. From there you can copy your unique referral link, build custom UTM-tagged URLs for different campaigns, and track everything in real time.
When someone clicks your link, a 90-day cookie is placed on their browser. That is a generous window -- B2B software purchases often involve demos, internal discussions, and budget approvals. If they sign up within 90 days of clicking your link, the referral is attributed to you.
Step 3: Earn Monthly Commission
When a referred shop subscribes to a paid cellbot plan, you earn commission on their monthly subscription -- every month, for as long as they remain a paying customer (up to 12 months on standard terms, or lifetime for early partners on Pro Plus referrals -- more on that below).
Commission is calculated on the subscription amount before VAT. There are no caps on how many referrals you can make or how much you can earn.

The commission rate increases as you refer more shops. This rewards affiliates who consistently bring quality referrals: This is why the programme can work as passive income for phone repair professionals rather than a one-off bounty.

Your rate is based on your total all-time converted referrals. Once you hit a higher tier, that rate applies to all future commissions.
cellbot's paid plans are priced as follows:
- Starter: £49/month
- Pro: £99/month
- Pro Plus: £199/month
Real Earnings Examples
Here is what your monthly recurring commission looks like at different scales. Every number below uses the actual commission rates and plan prices.
Starting out -- 3 Starter referrals (30% tier): 3 x £49 x 30% = £44.10 per month
That is £529.20 per year from just three referrals. Not life-changing, but meaningful -- and it recurs every month without any additional work from you.
Building momentum -- 5 Pro referrals (30% tier): 5 x £99 x 30% = £148.50 per month
That is £1,782 per year. At this point, your affiliate income covers a decent monthly expense or contributes meaningfully to your bottom line.
Proven affiliate -- 10 Pro Plus referrals (35% tier): 10 x £199 x 35% = £696.50 per month
With 10 conversions you unlock the 35% tier. At £696.50 per month, that is £8,358 per year in recurring commission.
Elite partner -- 25 Pro Plus referrals (40% tier): 25 x £199 x 40% = £1,990 per month
At 25 conversions you hit the top tier. Nearly £2,000 per month -- £23,880 per year -- from referrals alone. And every new referral after the 25th earns at the same 40% rate.
These figures compound. A shop that stays subscribed for a year generates 12 months of commission payments to you. Over time, your referral base grows and so does your monthly income.
The Lifetime Launch Offer
This is the part we are most excited about -- and it has a hard deadline.
If you join the affiliate programme before 30 June 2026, you earn lifetime recurring commissions on every Pro Plus referral you make. Not 12 months. Not 24 months. For as long as that shop remains a Pro Plus subscriber, you earn commission. Forever.
After 30 June 2026, new affiliates will earn commission for 12 months per referral on all tiers (which is still generous by industry standards). But if you join before the deadline, your Pro Plus referrals are grandfathered into lifetime commissions permanently.
This offer exists because we want to reward early partners who help us grow during our launch period. Once the deadline passes, it will not return.
To put this in perspective: a single Pro Plus referral at the 30% tier earns you £59.70 per month. Over 12 months (standard terms), that is £716.40. With lifetime commissions, if that shop stays subscribed for 3 years, you earn £2,149.20 from that one referral. Five years: £3,582.
The incentive to join early is significant.
What You Get as an Affiliate
Every approved affiliate receives access to a self-service dashboard. Here is what is included:
Real-time stats. See your clicks, sign-ups, conversions, and earnings as they happen. No waiting for monthly reports.
UTM builder. Create tagged links for different campaigns, channels, and content pieces. Track which of your promotions drive the most conversions.
Referral link management. One unique referral link that you can share anywhere -- social media, email, blog posts, direct messages.
Earnings history. Full breakdown of every commission earned, pending, and paid out. Complete transparency on how your earnings are calculated.
Stripe Connect payouts. Commissions are paid via Stripe Connect Express, which supports bank transfers to over 40 countries. No invoicing required on your part -- payouts are automated.
Payout schedule. Commissions are paid monthly once your balance reaches the £50 minimum threshold. New affiliates have a 90-day hold period on their first 3 conversions (a standard fraud-prevention measure), after which the hold drops to 30 days.
How Payouts Work
We want to be upfront about the payout mechanics so there are no surprises:
- Minimum payout: £50. Below this threshold, your balance carries forward to the next month.
- Standard hold: 30 days from when a commission is earned (Net-30). This protects against refunds and chargebacks.
- New affiliate hold: Your first 3 conversions have a 90-day hold period. After that, you move to the standard 30-day hold. This is an industry-standard measure that protects programme integrity.
- Payment method: Stripe Connect Express. You complete a short onboarding (including identity verification) and commissions are deposited directly into your bank account.
- No caps: There is no maximum on monthly earnings, total referrals, or commission payments.
One disclosure worth noting: shops that subscribe to cellbot through Shopify's billing system are excluded from affiliate commissions. This is because Shopify processes those payments directly and takes its own commission, making it commercially unviable to pay affiliate commission on top. This is disclosed in the programme terms.

As soon as someone clicks your referral link and subscribes to a paid cellbot plan, the commission appears in your dashboard. The funds become available for payout after the hold period (90 days for your first 3 conversions, then 30 days for all subsequent conversions). So realistically, expect your first payout within 3-4 months of your first referral.
No. Self-referrals are not permitted and our fraud detection systems are specifically designed to identify them. The programme is intended for recommending cellbot to other businesses. We have a 10-layer fraud prevention system that includes manual review, velocity checks, self-referral detection, conversion quality scoring, and churn monitoring.
Your commission adjusts to match their current plan. If they downgrade from Pro Plus to Pro, your commission is recalculated on the Pro price. If they cancel entirely, commission payments stop. This is standard for recurring commission programmes -- you earn when they pay.
No. There are no caps on referrals, conversions, or total earnings. The more quality referrals you make, the higher your commission tier climbs, and the more you earn per referral.
