Cellbot and Fixably overlap in repair management, but they are not substitutes for every shop.
- Investigate Fixably first when Apple GSX, OEM integrations, authorised-service workflows, depot logistics or a configurable enterprise after-sales operation is non-negotiable.
- Investigate Cellbot first when an independent repair business prioritises published plan pricing, built-in UK repair prices, website AI enquiries, pricebook-based quotes, bookings, deposits and Shopify in one customer-to-repair workflow.
An Apple Authorised Service Provider should not replace a required GSX workflow with Cellbot. An independent one-location shop should not assume it needs an authorised-service or depot platform merely because that system is more specialised.
Conflict disclosure: Cellbot publishes this comparison and Hassan helps build Cellbot. We can verify Cellbot's current product, but we are not an independent judge of it. Fixably facts below come from current Fixably pages checked on 26 August 2026. We removed the previous unsourced price estimates and claims based only on a missing feature-page mention.
Cellbot and Fixably at a glance
| Decision point | Cellbot | Fixably |
| Publicly documented primary fit | Repair shops, resellers and refurbishers; strongest fit here is an independent shop wanting AI-led enquiries and a connected CRM | Retail repair, Apple AASPs, authorised multi-brand service and enterprise depot operations |
| Pricing access | Published: $69, $99 and $179 per month, billed in USD | Product pages reviewed route buyers to a meeting or demo; request a scoped quote |
| Apple GSX | Not offered | Dedicated GSX integration for repair orders, parts, warranty lookups, diagnostics and appointments |
| Customer-facing acquisition | AI web chat, pricebook quotes, bookings and deposits are advertised | Customer messaging, portal and appointment functions are advertised; test the required acquisition journey in a demo |
| Operations | Repair records, customers, pricebook, inventory, payments, communications and automation | Repair orders, workflows, POS, inventory, reporting, logistics, contracts and OEM integrations |
| Shopify | Advertised across current Cellbot plans | Do not infer support or absence from this article; require a live demonstration if needed |
| Best poor-fit signal | Required GSX, authorised workflow, enterprise depot logistics or an unproven integration | Small independent shop cannot justify scope, implementation or quoted total |
This table describes publicly documented positioning, not a score. It would be misleading to award an overall winner when the non-negotiable workflow differs.
The decisive question: do you require an authorised-service workflow?
Fixably's Apple GSX integration page says its integration lets AASPs create Apple repairs, order parts, perform live service and warranty lookups, initiate diagnostics, manage GSX appointments and handle labour reimbursement from the repair order.
If those actions are part of the shop's required Apple process, demonstrate them in Fixably and any other authorised-service candidate. Cellbot does not offer GSX. Its lower published entry price or customer-facing AI cannot compensate for a mandatory integration it lacks.
Fixably also markets Fixably Repair around automated workflows, customer communications, POS, reporting, inventory, logistics, contract management and OEM integrations. Fixably Depot targets enterprise facilities with configurable workflows, reporting, API, OEM and logistics integrations.
For an independent shop with no OEM authorisation, reverse the question: which of those capabilities will be used, and what will they cost to implement? Specialist depth creates value only when it matches the work.
Pricing: published tiers versus a scoped quote
Cellbot pricing and limits
Cellbot's current pricing page lists:
| Plan | Monthly price | Locations | Team members | Repair volume | Built-in price coverage |
| Starter | $69 | 1 | 1 | Up to 100/month | 1,000+ iPhone and iPad prices |
| Pro | $99 | Up to 3 | Up to 5 | Unlimited | 3,000+ iPhone, iPad and Samsung prices |
| Pro Plus | $179 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Up to 10,000 prices across those families, other Android phones and MacBook; installable mobile app with full communications pack |
Cellbot is paid-only. The page states month-to-month billing, no setup fee and a 14-day guarantee on a first subscription. That guarantee is not a free trial: signup requires choosing and paying for a plan.
Features also vary by tier. For example, inventory and several automation and reporting functions begin on Pro, while the installable mobile app and full communications pack, custom integrations, up to 10,000 built-in prices across the core phone families and MacBook, unlimited users and unlimited locations are Pro Plus. Budget from the row that contains the required workflow, not from the entry tier by default.
Fixably pricing and scope
The Fixably product pages reviewed do not show a current self-serve plan table. They route the buyer to book a meeting or demo. That makes the correct comparison a written proposal, not an estimated monthly number copied from a directory or an older article.
Ask the Fixably proposal to separate:
- product and module fees;
- locations, users and repair volume;
- GSX, OEM, API and logistics scope;
- implementation, configuration and data migration;
- support and service commitments;
- payments, messages and third-party costs;
- contract length, renewal and price changes; and
- export, transition assistance and exit charges.
Then compare the same three-year operating model with Cellbot. A $69 headline tier is irrelevant if the shop needs Pro Plus; a higher Fixably quote may be good value when it removes mandatory authorised-service administration.
Where Cellbot is the better-fit candidate
Independent customer acquisition is the measured bottleneck
Cellbot's feature catalogue connects a website AI chat widget to the shop's configured pricebook, quotes, bookings, deposits and repair records. This is relevant when the shop can show that slow or incomplete web responses are losing enquiries.
Test the complete journey:
- customer describes an ambiguous device and fault;
- the system asks for the missing information rather than guessing;
- the quote comes from the shop's configured price;
- an unavailable repair escalates cleanly;
- booking and deposit create one customer and repair record; and
- cancellation or refund reconciles without a duplicate.
Do not award points for “has AI”. Award them for accurate, controlled outcomes on the shop's real exceptions.
Shopify is part of the repair journey
Cellbot publishes Shopify support for embedding the customer journey and connecting repair-commerce workflows. A Shopify seller should test quote, booking, deposit, cancellation, customer matching and stock effects rather than accepting the integration name alone.
If Shopify is required in Fixably, ask Fixably to demonstrate the exact flow or document the API and implementation needed. Absence from a public feature page is not proof that a capability is impossible.
The shop wants self-serve, month-to-month entry
Published tiers make Cellbot easier to cost before a sales call. This is useful for a small independent with a straightforward scope. It does not remove the need to test exports, permissions, support and integrations, and it does not make Starter suitable for a multi-user shop.
Where Fixably is the better-fit candidate
Apple GSX is required
This is the clearest boundary. Fixably documents GSX inside the repair order; Cellbot does not offer it. An AASP should evaluate the quality, current compatibility and support of that integration, but it should not shortlist Cellbot as a GSX replacement.
The operation is authorised, multi-brand or depot-led
Fixably's public product structure separates retail repair from enterprise depot work and highlights OEM, API and logistics integrations. That is a stronger documented starting point for high-volume after-sales operations, multi-brand authorised repair or contract-driven service than Cellbot's independent-shop positioning.
Test the difficult operational cases: bulk intake, custody events, parts returns, warranty eligibility, escalations, technician permissions, contractual service levels, customer updates and partner reporting.
Configurable workflow and integration depth outweigh self-serve simplicity
An enterprise buyer may prefer discovery, configuration and implementation over signing up immediately. Require evidence that the proposed workflows reduce real manual work, and price the ongoing changes rather than only the initial configuration.
Evidence-led feature comparison
Use three evidence states rather than a yes/no tick:
- Documented: a current first-party page describes the capability.
- Demonstrated: the vendor completes your scenario live in the proposed tier and configuration.
- Proven: your controlled pilot completes it with reconciled outputs and acceptable failure handling.
| Scenario | Cellbot public evidence | Fixably public evidence | What the buyer must prove |
| Apple repair order | No GSX offering | Dedicated GSX page | Parts, warranty, diagnostics, appointments and audit history |
| Website repair enquiry | AI chat, configured-price quote and booking | Customer experience and appointment capabilities | Ambiguous device, unavailable service, hand-off and duplicate prevention |
| Repair operations | Customers, devices, repairs, inventory, payment and messaging | Repair orders, workflows, POS, inventory, logistics and reporting | Revised quote, reserved part, refund, warranty and role permissions |
| E-commerce | Shopify documented | Require vendor evidence for the intended setup | Booking, deposit, cancellation, customer and stock reconciliation |
| Enterprise integration | Custom integrations on Pro Plus | API, OEM and logistics integrations advertised | Authentication, failure recovery, ownership, monitoring and change cost |
| Exit | Ask Cellbot for a sample export of required records | Ask Fixably for a sample export of required records | Counts, relationships, attachments, balances and usable history |
A marketing page can reach only “documented”. The 30-day software buyer test explains how to reach demonstrated and proven.
Poor-fit tests before a sales call
Cellbot may be a poor fit if
- the shop is an AASP or depends on another OEM workflow Cellbot cannot demonstrate;
- it requires enterprise depot, logistics or contract-management depth;
- required counter hardware, payment or accounting integration is not proven;
- Starter or Pro user and location limits do not fit; or
- the business prefers an established enterprise implementation partner over a younger self-serve product.
Fixably may be a poor fit if
- the shop is a small independent with no authorised-service or depot requirement;
- the proposed contract, implementation and support model exceeds its capacity;
- the required web acquisition or Shopify journey is not demonstrated; or
- a simpler repair system meets every must-pass requirement at materially lower total cost.
These are shortlist filters, not verdicts. A vendor can change the result by demonstrating the missing workflow in the quoted scope.
Migration boundaries
Moving from Fixably to Cellbot
Do not proceed if the business would lose a required GSX, OEM, depot or contract workflow. For an independent shop, request sample exports and map customers, devices, open repairs, history, stock, balances, messages and attachments. Test the difficult records before signing, then reconcile a controlled pilot.
Moving from Cellbot to Fixably
A move may become relevant if the business gains authorised-service obligations or grows into a depot or enterprise after-sales model. The reason should be a new must-pass requirement, not a vague belief that enterprise software is more professional. Price configuration, integration, training and exit alongside subscription.
The repair shop CRM guide provides a field-level migration and consent model. Preserve the former system read-only until counts, balances and required history reconcile.
Cellbot vs Fixably FAQs
Is Cellbot a Fixably alternative for an Apple AASP?
No, not as a replacement for GSX. Cellbot does not offer Apple GSX, while Fixably explicitly targets AASPs and documents GSX repair, parts, warranty, diagnostic and appointment workflows. An AASP should evaluate Fixably and other authorised-service systems against its current Apple requirements.
Does Fixably publish its price?
The Fixably pages reviewed on 26 August 2026 route buyers to a meeting or demo rather than showing a self-serve plan table. Ask for a written total covering product, implementation, integrations, support, contract and exit. Do not use the unsourced estimates that appeared in the previous version of this article.
Does Cellbot have a free plan or free trial?
No. Cellbot currently lists three paid tiers at $69, $99 and $179 per month, billed in USD. It offers a 14-day guarantee on a first paid subscription, which is different from a free trial.
Which is better for an independent UK phone repair shop?
Cellbot is the more directly documented candidate when the priorities are published plan pricing, built-in UK repair prices, website AI enquiries, Shopify and a connected customer journey. Fixably may still win if it demonstrates a critical workflow Cellbot cannot. Run the same jobs and exceptions before deciding.
Which is better for enterprise after-sales?
Fixably has the stronger public positioning for configurable depot, API, OEM and logistics workflows. Enterprise buyers should require a scoped demonstration and pilot; positioning alone does not prove performance, implementation quality or total cost.
Sources and review method
This comparison was fully reviewed on 27 August 2026. Fixably claims link to its current Repair, Depot and GSX pages. Cellbot claims link to its current pricing and feature pages. We kept Fixably's price as “quote required”, described unverified capabilities as tests rather than absences, and did not claim hands-on competitor testing. The fit map and three-state evidence method are Cellbot editorial frameworks.
