SumUp's API is more limited than Square or Clover — advanced POS features like inventory management are not available through the API.
SumUp readers connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone, so a mobile device with the SumUp app is required alongside the card reader.
Transaction limits may apply to new SumUp accounts during the initial verification period.
